Coastal Hillside Oil 12x12

 
Warm, bright oil painting on wood of a sandy hillside neart the coast. Distant mountains extend the depth along the horizon. Other than painting with more of a modern color palette, I created this in the style of the early american tonalists who preceeded the impressionistic movement.
